Have you ever wondered what "embodiment" actually means? It's a word that seems to be everywhere at the moment and it's somwthing I have been pondering often, especially when I am walking with my dogs.
Google defines it as "a tangible or visible form of an idea, quality, or feeling." From a somatic or yoga perspective it's a question of "how do we really come into our body and develop a relationship with our physical selves?
Would it be fair to say that we are only in our body as much as we can sense or feel it?
For instance, if you cannot feel sensations in your belly do you fully live there? Could it be that your belly is living "off line" to your awareness and as a result not able to communicate to you it's messages?
